Social worker by day | Watercolor artist by night
I am a watercolor artist based out of Bloomington, IN. I have always loved art. I started learning how to watercolor in 2016 in attempt to create more balance in my life. My job as a therapist is so fulfilling and keeps me very busy, but I found I needed a creative outlet to protect myself from feeling burnt out. I quickly fell in love with the unpredictable nature of watercolor, and loved learning how to mix colors and paint floral pieces. I have since expanded some of my work to include a representation of two of my favorite places in the whole world -- Bloomington, IN and Angra dos Reis, Brazil. I pride myself in my old-lady hobbies of knitting, doing puzzles, and going to bed by 9pm.
